April 22-30 Current Meter Cruise

We positioned five moorings across the escarment that will record current velocities in the boundary layer for about 1 year. In addition, we collected ten 4" gravity cores at sites determined based on the high resolution seismic data collected during our last Deep Tow cruise.

May 1-10 Deep Tow cruise


We surveyed furrows along the Sigsbee Escarpment, Gulf of Mexico by means of our new Deep Tow system that includes a chirp side scan sonar and a chirp subbottom profiler.
